This story has what I like to refer to as the "open ended ending." I've written a couple of stories with this kind of ending and it's not easy to pull off. This ending is chilling; because whatever she decides to do the reader senses her husband is not going to like it.

ReplyDeleteThis made me smile. It's a bit like Falling Down with knitting needles. A nice spin on 50s attitudes.
