The Spanish Week of Quarantine

 The Spanish translation of my short story The Second Week of Quarantine is out today at Argentine-based webzine  Microficciones y Cuentos. 

This is the third translation of this story after German and Hindi, and my eighteenth story in Spanish.

Living on the Edge of Poland

 More good news to finish off the year: I've sold my short story Living on the Edge of Darkness to Polish magazine Nowa Fantastyka. This story appeared in Dragon Gems earlier this year and this will be its first translation. It will be my second story in Nowa Fantastyka and my fifth in Polish altogether.

Season of the Slumwort

 Having signed the contract, I can now announce that I've sold my Jack Vance-inspired story Season of the Slumwort to the anthology Feast or Famine from Purple Toga Press. The anthology will contain food-related stories, and my story revolves around the eponymous and unappetising slumwort. Looking forward to seeing the anthology in print early next year.

Hindi Quarantine

The Hindi translation of my short story The Second Week of Quarantine has been published in the latest issue of popular science magazine Vigyan Sampreshan. 

This is the second translation of this story, and my fourth story in Hindi. I'm expecting several other translations of this story next year.

In Response to a Farsi Reader

The Farsi translation of my short story In Response to Your Reader was published at Metaphor Space earlier this month. 

This is the sixth language for this story, and my second story in Farsi.

German Quarantine

The German translation of my short story The Second Week of Quarantine is out today at Phantastikon, the first translation of this story. 

 It's my third story at Phantastikon and my fifth in German altogether.

Thai Three

 Three of my short stories are being translated into Thai and will appear on the website of the Thai Science Fiction Club next month: The Gondolier, Englebert and The Second Week of Quarantine.

These will be my first stories in Thai, making this my 37th language.

Dutch Quarantine

 I'm very pleased that my short story The Second Week of Quarantine, which appeared earlier this year in Black Cat Weekly, has been accepted by Dutch magazine SF Terra. This is the fourth translation I'm now expecting for this story, and will be my fourth appearance in SF Terra.

Romeo and the Chinese Robots

The Chinese translation of my short story Romeo and the Robots is now out at what I assume is an affiliate of Nature, the original publishers. Nature have worldwide translation rights for a period of time, and several different language editions. 

This is my first story in Chinese - my 36th language!

Aurochs and Cave Bears in Romania

 The Romanian translation of my third Yorick story, Aurochs, Cave Bears and Other Charismatic Megafauna, is now out in the new issue of Galaxia 42 magazine.

This is the fourth language for this story, my sixth story in Galaxia 42 and my tenth story in Romanian altogether.
