Friday Flash Fiction: Grammar

As predicted, inspiration struck last week so that I have a little tale to share with you for the first time in several weeks:

    I liked this up until the last sentence. I felt there was more to this story and it got cut off too soon. I expected a transaction - emotional, material, or spiritual - to occur between the characters. But maybe that's just because I was enjoying it up until that point and wanted to read more?
