Romanian Megafauna

My flurry of Yorick story publications is set to continue, with the third story Aurochs, Cave Bears and Other Charismatic Megafauna accepted by Romanian magazine Galaxia 42 and set to appear in the August issue.

So far this year , Yorick II was published in Romanian, Yorick IV in Slovenian and published as a podcast in English, and Yorick III reprinted in English in a Slovenian magazine. 

Black Cat Weekly

Issue #198 of mixed-genre magazine Black Cat Weekly is out today and includes my short story The Second Week of Quarantine. 

It's my 6th new story in English this year, which I'm really happy with after concentrating n translations for the past few years.

Eurocon Reprint

A reprint of the original English version of Aurochs, Cave Bears and Other Charismatic Megafauna is out now in the English language Eurocon special edition of Slovenian magazine Supernova. 

This is my fourth appearance in Supernova and the fourth appearance for this story.

Galaxy's Game Galactograph

 I suspect this is not entirely clear as a screen shot, but this will help you navigate around the sector of the Galaxy as you follow Brett Hawkes and Nirf in their adventures in Galaxy's Game.

Yorick IV Podcast

The podcast of Canines, Reptiles and Other Biological Anomalies is now up at Tall Tale TV. This is the fourth Yorick story, and appears less than a fortnight after the Slovenian version. 

Escapades in Dutch

I seem to be on a bit or a roll! The Dutch translation of my short story Escapades in Time is out in issue #288 of SF Terra magazine. 

This is my 7th story in a fortnight! It's the 7th language for this story, and my third story in Dutch.

Slovenian Anomalies

Issue 18 of  Slovenian magazine Supernova is now out, and includes the translation of my fourth Yorick story Canines, Reptiles and Other Biological Anomalies. 

This is the third language for this story and my fourth story in Slovenian.

Galaxy's Game Triple

 The double April / May issue of Aphelion is out, and includes parts 3 and 4 of Galaxy's Game, as well as the side story Shards of a New Life.

A Droid by Any Other Name

 My short story Romeo and the Robots is out now at Nature.com, along with my brief 'story behind the story' article. It's my fifth story in Nature, and my second story published in a week!

Living on the Edge of Darkness

The Spring 2025 edition of Dragon Gems is now out, including my short story Living on the Edge of Darkness. This story was partly inspired by a short story by Jason Sanford that I read in Interzone years ago, and also partly by an episode of the remake of The Prisoner.
