'tis done

I wrote the final paragraph of Roadmaker months ago and I've been heading towards it ever since.

Last night, with great ceremony, I cut and pasted it onto the end of my manuscript.

Then, in a surprisingly emotional act, I wrote two words:

The End

Funny feeling, eh? Specially for someone who enjoys writing short stories. I've been where you are only three times in my life and it sure is a funny feeling. Congrats, and rest for a while, for here comes the much dreaded editing part.
