Venus of Poland

I'm very pleased to have sold my story Venus of Venus to long-running Polish magazine Nowa Fantastyka, to appear probably in July.

This will be my first appearance in this magazine, my fourth story in Polish and the third language for this story, following English and Hungarian.

Hiking in Germany

 I'm very pleased to say that the German translation of my story Hiking in My Head has been published today in Phantastikon.

This is the third language for this story, and my third story in German.

Escapades in Punjabi

 My short story Escapades in Time is being translated into Punjabi to appear in Udaan (Flight) magazine in the near future. Punjabi is a new language for me and will be the 33rd language I've been published in!

This will be the sixth language for this story.

The Gondolier in Ido

Ido is a constructed language, derived from Reformed Esperanto, created to be a universal second language for speakers of diverse backgrounds.

Here, then, is The Gondolier in Ido, its 57th language.

La nigra pruo di mea gondolo glate trasekis la kalma aquo dil kanali. La gracila batelo servabis me bone dum multa yari, portabis pasajeri tra l'aquovoyi dil urbo sub la guidanta manui di generacioni de mea ancestri. 

La suno subiris super l'anciena urbo, divenigante l'aquo inkatra rubando jacant inter eleganta gresa edifici. Me aspiris profunde la koldeta vespero-brizo. 

Kad esis irga loko plu bela kam ca marveloza urbo de kanali? Dum ke la batelo eniris sua amarageyo me haltis por regardar kun kontenteso adsupre aden l'obskureskanta cielo di Marso.

Two English Stories

In a break from my recent run of translated stories, I have sold a second new story in English - following on from my very short story to Stupefying Stories another has been accepted for an upcoming Dragon Gems anthology.
