Futures 2 Anthology Launched

Futures 2 Anthology, featuring the best stories from Nature magazine's Futures column, was launched at WorlCon on Friday evening. The anthology is available in various e formats, and includes my story World Wire Web, along with a host of well known authors and fabulous stories.

I was at the launch party where I met editors Henry Gee again and Colin Sullivan for the first time, as well as several of the other authors.

Spanish Short Story Collection

One of the projects I've been working on occasionaly is to collect my ten stories that have been translated into Spanish and release them as a free e-book. Unfortunately it's such a long time since I turned Daybreak into an ebook that I don't remember how I did it. Meanwhile I've almost tracked down all of the translators to get permissions, so it shouldn't be too long.

Daybreak Now Available

After reading much about the self-publishing revolution, then struggling through the instructions for formatting a book for e-publishing and attempting to put together a cover, I have finally succeeded in producing a e-story via Smashwords, which should soon be available from all the usual venues.

Daybreak is an anthropomorphic fable of a story, quite unlike any of my usual SF and I've struggled to find an appropriate market for it, so it seemed the perfect candidate for my first experimental foray into e-publishing.

You can sample or purchase it here.
