Thai Sci Fi Club

Another new language today, my 37th: Thai. Three of my stories appear on the website of the Thai SciFi Club, along with the English originals:

  • The Gondolier
  • The Second Week of Quarantine
  • Englebert
The Gondolier had previously been translated into Thai and appeared here on this website. The Thai Sci Fi Club have published that version along with a poetic version of the same story. Interestingly, when the German translation was published in Exodus magazine it was also listed as a poem.

Englebert in Hungarian

In slightly late news, my story Englebert, first published in Daily Science Fiction, was published in Hungarian last April in the magazine Galaktika.

My name is even on the cover!

This is my second story in the magazine, following on from A Few Good Men back in 2009. I knew they'd accepted the story last year, but they forgot to tell me it was published. It's not my first surprise translation though!

Hungarian Story Sale

I'm very pleased to have sold my short story Englebert, first published in Daily Science Fiction, to Hungarian magazine Galaktika. My last story with them was in 2009 and it's a very nicely produced, professional looking magazine.
